Latest Trends in FEI
Summer is calling—and so is one of our favorite traditions: the Annual FEI Silicon Valley BBQ .
We are excited to gather once again at Pillsbury, our valued Partner, in their beautifully remodeled space. With both indoor and outdoor areas, it provides the perfect setting for a summer evening of engaging conversation, meaningful connections, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.
This annual BBQ is a reflection of what makes our Chapter special. It is where Members and Partners come together not just to network, but to genuinely enjoy the community we have built. The strength of FEI Silicon Valley comes from the people in it...and this night is all about celebrating our remarkable Members and Partners.
Simply put, this Chapter would not be what it is without you. And this is our way of raising a glass, firing up the grill, and saying thank you.
Annual FEI Silicon Valley BBQ will be held at Pillsbury in Palo Alto on Tuesday, July 21st, from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm Pacific.

Next Financial Officers Forum - This Summer!
The Financial Officers Forum (FOF) is a virtual, confidential, peer-level forum built for senior finance leaders who are actively advising, consulting, and operating in complex environments. There are no presentations, no panels, and no scripted content. It's just a real discussion shaped by what participants are seeing right now across their client work.
This is a Vistage-style exchange where CFOs, Controllers, and finance advisors bring current challenges to the table and work through them together. The value is is grounded in active engagements, real decisions, and unfiltered perspectives from peers navigating similar situations.
Topics evolve with the group but consistently reflect what is happening beneath the surface: how companies are approaching system decisions, structuring outsourced functions, navigating audit realities, and refining reporting in high-growth environments like SaaS.
It is a rare opportunity to step into a room where finance leaders speak candidly, share what is actually working, and compare notes without posturing or polish.
If you want a sharper perspective on what companies are dealing with right now (and how experienced operators are responding), FOF is a conversation worth being in.
Financial Officers Forum (FOF) will be held virtually on Friday, July 24th, from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Pacific.

FEISV Topgolf & Social
Golf is where relationships are built, ideas are shared, and many business deals quietly take shape on the fairway. While the 27th Annual Scholarship Tournament wrapped up last week, you can keep the momentum going with the FEI Silicon Valley group at our August Topgolf Social.
Non-golfers will love Topgolf’s relaxed, no-pressure vibe, with easy-to-hit targets, great food and drinks, and a fun atmosphere that makes networking feel natural. It's the perfect chance to get some extra swings in before returning for next year's Tournament!
For golfers, Topgolf is a chance to work on your swing, compete with friends, and relive tournament highlights while connecting with peers in a more casual, high-energy setting. It is the perfect way to get back in the swing of things after summer and deepen the connections you started on the course.
FEISV Topgolf & Social will be held at Topgolf in Burlingame on Wednesday, August 19th, from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm Pacific.

Top 5 Compliance Challenges Facing Professional Services Firms
Today, professional services firms are navigating a broader, more complex compliance landscape than they were just a few years ago. New tax legislation, AI adoption, distributed work models, and increasing oversight demands are increasing exposure across tax compliance, workforce compliance, data governance, and internal controls.
How that vulnerability shows up often depends on the business. Law firms, for instance, manage client trust accounts. Agencies handle confidential campaign concepts and proprietary client information. Consulting firms may operate across multiple states, entities, and client arrangements. And accounting firms work with highly sensitive financial and personal data.
Many of these organizations also run lean, with compliance oversight spread across already stretched finance, operations, HR, or leadership teams. As compliance demands grow, even well-run firms can find it harder to keep pace.
Learn about the five challenges driving that strain. Read Top 5 Compliance Challenges Facing Professional Services Firms via our Gold Partners at Armanino LLP.
