Latest Trends in FEI
The ERP decision you make in 2026 will shape your finance operating model for the next decade. This Thursday, join “A CFO’s Guide to Selecting the Right ERP Solution with Oracle NetSuite vs. Sage Intacct.
This panel will feature a fast-paced, practitioner-led discussion built for CFOs and senior finance leaders comparing Sage Intacct, Oracle, and emerging AI-native ERP platforms.
Experts from our Gold Partners at BPM will cut through vendor hype and unpack:
- The core design philosophy behind each option (Finance-first best-of-breed, unified enterprise suite, or AI-native) and which types of organizations they’re truly built to serve.
- Whether each platform can actually deliver real-time dimensional reporting and multi-entity consolidation without a shadow spreadsheet universe.
- What AI can do for finance today, what’s still on the roadmap, and when it’s smart to consider AI-native ERPs versus proven platforms.
You’ll walk away with a clear, board-ready framework to make a confident, defensible ERP decision. Join the discussion this Thursday and bring your toughest ERP questions.
Oracle NetSuite vs. Sage Intacct will be held at the Wells Fargo Innovation Center in Menlo Park on Thursday, May 7th, from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm Pacific.

Led by experienced experts in the field, this session delivers a clear, practical breakdown of how QSBS works, what it takes to qualify, and where the most valuable planning opportunities exist. You’ll gain insight into both corporate-and shareholder-level requirements, along with guidance to help you navigate complexity and avoid costly missteps.
The discussion also dives into critical valuation considerations, including how the gross assets test is applied and how to properly establish QSBS tax basis when contributing assets from an LLC to a C-Corporation...areas where expert perspective can make a meaningful difference.
If you’re advising clients, structuring entities, or looking to maximize tax efficiency, this is essential learning you can immediately put into practice.
Unlocking QSBS: Tax Advantages and Valuation Considerations will be held virtually on Tuesday, May 12th, from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Pacific.

Play In A Scramble Golf Tournament for a Good Cause: No Experience Needed!
A scramble tournament is golf’s most beginner-friendly format, and it’s built for fun, teamwork, and conversation—not scorekeeping anxiety. Join in on a time-honored tradition and a fun day of golf at the 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, presented by Robert Half & FEI Silicon Valley!
Everyone in your foursome hits a shot, the group picks the best ball, and then you all play from there, repeating that process until the hole is finished. That means you’re never “holding anyone back." The team always moves forward from the strongest shot, and newer golfers can relax, enjoy the day, and still contribute.
Scrambles are a staple for charity and corporate outings because they create an easy, social environment where players of all levels can participate on a level playing field.
For finance executives, that format is ideal. You get a few hours outside the boardroom to build relationships, talk shop between shots, and experience your peers in a more human, low-pressure setting. Because the structure is collaborative, you can learn the rhythm and etiquette of golf in real time, without the spotlight on every swing.
If golf has ever felt like a “missing skill” for future business deals or client entertainment, a scramble is the perfect way to learn the game, quietly build confidence, and start saying yes to more invitational rounds. By the end of the day, you’ll have stories, new connections, and a stronger golf comfort level you can carry into future networking and deal-making.
The 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, hosted by Robert Half & FEI Silicon Valley, will be held on Thursday, June 4th, at the Coyote Creek Golf Club in Morgan Hill.

Not All Spend Is Equal: Why Vendor Spend Is the CFO’s Biggest Lever for Margin and Risk Control
Finance leaders are under intense pressure to squeeze more efficiency out of every dollar, manage escalating risk, and still support aggressive growth targets. At the same time, most companies still treat all spending the same, even though some spend categories are far more complex, negotiable, and strategically important than others.
Join us for a networking session where you’ll hear real operational lessons from scaling companies across Silicon Valley and the systems and processes modern finance leaders are putting in place to support smarter, more resilient growth.
Unlike payroll or employee expenses, vendor spend is cross-functional, heavily negotiable, and often one of the largest controllable cost centers in the business. The finance leaders who get this right are using it as a primary lever to improve margins, reduce risk, and fund growth — without knee-jerk headcount cuts. You’ll walk away with concrete ideas you can apply in your next quarter, not just theory.
Not All Spend Is Equal: Why Vendor Spend Is the CFO’s Biggest Lever for Margin and Risk Control will be at Zip in San Francisco on Tuesday, May 26th, from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm Pacific.
