Latest Trends in FEI

AI is rewriting the rules of SaaS. Are you ready to lead the new financial playbook? The metrics that have defined SaaS success for the past decade, such as growth efficiency, retention, and margin durability, are being upended. AI is reshaping valuation, cost structures, and investor expectations faster than most finance teams can model it.

Join us one week from today as an expert panel of top investors and operators partakes in a high-stakes conversation built for CFOs and finance executives on the front lines of transformation. Discover how AI is forcing a full rethink of what “good” performance looks like, where traditional SaaS metrics are breaking, and how finance leaders can stay ahead of investors’ new standards.

You’ll walk away with clear insight into how capital providers are redefining performance in the age of AI. Leave knowing how to measure, communicate, and defend value creation in a market that’s moving faster than ever.

If you lead finance for a SaaS or AI-driven company, this is the conversation you can’t afford to miss.

Unlock The Metrics That Matter in an AI Driven SaaS Landscape will be held at the Wells Fargo Innovation Center in Menlo Park on Tuesday, April 28th, from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm Pacific.

Play In A Scramble Golf Tournament for a Good Cause: No Experience Needed!

A scramble tournament is golf’s most beginner-friendly format, and it’s built for fun, teamwork, and conversation—not scorekeeping anxiety. Join in on a time-honored tradition and a fun day of golf at the 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, presented by Robert Half & FEI Silicon Valley!

Everyone in your foursome hits a shot, the group picks the best ball, and then you all play from there, repeating that process until the hole is finished. That means you’re never “holding anyone back." The team always moves forward from the strongest shot, and newer golfers can relax, enjoy the day, and still contribute.

Scrambles are a staple for charity and corporate outings because they create an easy, social environment where players of all levels can participate on a level playing field.

For finance executives, that format is ideal. You get a few hours outside the boardroom to build relationships, talk shop between shots, and experience your peers in a more human, low-pressure setting. Because the structure is collaborative, you can learn the rhythm and etiquette of golf in real time, without the spotlight on every swing.

If golf has ever felt like a “missing skill” for future business deals or client entertainment, a scramble is the perfect way to learn the game, quietly build confidence, and start saying yes to more invitational rounds. By the end of the day, you’ll have stories, new connections, and a stronger golf comfort level you can carry into future networking and deal-making.

The 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, hosted by Robert Half & FEI Silicon Valley, will be held on Thursday, June 4th, at the Coyote Creek Golf Club in Morgan Hill.

Oracle NetSuite vs. Sage Intacct: How to Choose

Selecting between NetSuite and Sage Intacct shapes everything from reporting structure to global expansion. Both platforms are powerful, but they’re built differently...and those differences show up quickly as your organization grows more complex.

Join us as a panel of experts brings those distinctions into focus through a practitioner-led lens. You’ll get a clear breakdown of how each system is designed, where it performs best, and how it supports organizations across industries like SaaS, manufacturing, nonprofits, and professional services.

The discussion covers the areas finance leaders care about most: Multi-entity consolidation, dimensional reporting, integrations, and global readiness—along with a practical look at which AI capabilities are delivering value today. You’ll also gain perspective on emerging ERP platforms and how teams are approaching phased adoption across accounting, planning, and forecasting.

If you’re evaluating an ERP or planning for your next stage of growth, this session will help you move forward with clarity.

Oracle NetSuite vs. Sage Intacct will be held at the Wells Fargo Innovation Center in Menlo Park on Thursday, May 7th, from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm Pacific.

Make Connections at the Financial Officers Forum

At the Financial Officers Forum, senior finance leaders skip the trial-and-error phase entirely. This is a working session where CFOs, Controllers, and Finance VPs bring active challenges to the table and leave with solutions already pressure-tested by peers who’ve been there.

Instead of researching vendors, validating strategies, or second-guessing implementation paths, you get immediate insight from professionals who have already navigated similar decisions. Whether it’s selecting accounting systems, structuring compensation, or handling complex audit scenarios like ASC 606, you have a soundboard you can trust.

What makes FOF different isn’t just the experience in the room. It’s the efficiency. You’re not starting from scratch. You’re accelerating past it.

Each session is shaped by participant-submitted topics, ensuring the discussion stays relevant, practical, and rooted in what’s happening right now across multiple organizations and industries.

If you’re looking to compress decision timelines, reduce risk, and move forward with greater confidence, this is where that happens.

Financial Officers Forum will be held virtually on Friday, May 1st, from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Pacific.

The Executive Guide to AI Contracting

Buy-side contracts are the silent risk hiding in plain sight. Procurement too often is stuck doing legal work they were never trained for, while legal is buried under low-value reviews they shouldn't have to touch. Discover why poor contract management quietly erodes an average of 11% of annual contract value and how AI is reversing the trend. Determine how AI agents are doing the manual grunt work that's been grinding procurement and legal teams down for years!
