Latest Trends in FEI

The Financial Officers Forum is back on May 1st! Be in the (virtual) room when the discussions go down!

FOF is designed for senior finance professionals—CFOs, Controllers, and VPs of Finance—who currently provide consulting or advisory services to organizations.

Participants raise real-time issues drawn from current client situations and exchange practical solutions, best practices, and trusted referrals. The opportunity to learn from peers while sharing practical, real-world lessons is one of the most impactful benefits of participation.

Financial Officers Forum will be held virtually on Friday, May 1st, from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Pacific.

From SOX Burden to Strategic Value: Balancing Pressure, Scope, and Filing Deadlines

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) readiness is the organizational preparedness to align governance, internal controls, and the day-to-day operating routines to enable reliable public-company financial reporting. For leaders navigating this landscape, the goal is a sustainable SOX program that supports consistent execution and can help reduce late-quarter risk and rework.

For CEOs and CFOs, it really comes down to a recurring, pivotal requirement: Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings. That responsibility—formalized through SOX Sections 302 and 906—makes executives directly accountable for disclosures and reporting, placing pressure on leadership and creating direct reputational and legal exposure.

New and Experienced Golfers Are Welcome: Play the 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament

Join us for a day of fun at the 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament! Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or swinging a club for the very first time, this event is all about fun, connection, and supporting a great cause—not perfect swings.

Come to the Coyote Creek Golf Club for a relaxed and lively day on the course filled with laughter, fresh air, friendly competition, and great company, all while helping raise funds that make a real difference. Grab a friend, rally a foursome, or come solo and meet new people. We promise a memorable day both on and off the course!

If you’re not familiar with golfing, no big deal! This tournament is a scramble, which means it’s designed to be fun and beginner-friendly. You’ll play as part of a foursome, and for each shot, the group uses the best ball. That way, everyone benefits from the strongest play on the team!

Even if you’ve never picked up a club before, you can still have a great time and contribute. Ladies, you are invited to take advantage of the Pre-Tournament Golf Clinic (details below) to get comfortable and build confidence before hitting the course.

The 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, hosted by Robert Half & FEI Silicon Valley, will be held on Thursday, June 4th, at the Coyote Creek Golf Club in Morgan Hill.

FEISV Members & Non-Members Round of Golf: $275 (+The Deal: $390)     |     Foursome (Value $1,100): $1,000     |     RegistrationHere
