Latest Trends in FEI
We’re looking forward to bringing our FEI Silicon Valley community together again at the Annual FEISV BBQ!
Coming off the success of our 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, there’s a real sense of momentum across the Chapter, and it continues as we look ahead to the Women’s CFO of the Year Awards come the fall. The Annual FEISV BBQ is a chance to stay connected in between, to carry that energy forward, and to spend time with the people who make these moments so meaningful.
We’re grateful to host this year’s BBQ at Pillsbury, our valued Partner, in their beautifully remodeled space. With inviting indoor and outdoor areas, it’s the perfect setting for a relaxed evening filled with conversation, connection, and a genuine sense of community.
More than anything, this event is about you—our Members and Partners. It’s a chance to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate what we’re building together.
We hope you’ll join us for an evening that feels as welcoming as it is energizing.
The Annual FEI Silicon Valley BBQ will be held at Pillsbury in Palo Alto on Tuesday, July 21st, from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm Pacific.

Financial Officers Forum - 1 Month Away!
Most finance groups speak in generalities. FOF is where senior leaders show up with what actually hit their desk that week and work it through with peers.
The Financial Officers Forum (FOF) Affinity Group brings together CFOs, Controllers, and VP Finance leaders who are actively advising companies and navigating real client situations in real time. Every session is built around live issues from attendees’ consulting work, so the conversation moves quickly past theory into what people are actually trying, testing, and refining with their clients right now.
Over the past few quarters, FOF has grown into one of the best-attended and most consistently engaging conversations in the Chapter. With each meeting, more executives join the table, and the dialogue goes a layer deeper. AI, in particular, has emerged as a recurring anchor. AI insights are threaded through discussions on close, reporting, FP&A, and how finance leaders are rethinking their operating models around it.
The format is confidential, peer-driven, and similar in spirit to a Vistage-style advisory group. During this virtual session, senior finance professionals will share best practices, pressure-test decisions, and offer an unvarnished perspective with no sales agenda and no spectators.
Financial Officers Forum (FOF) will be held virtually on Friday, July 24th, from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Pacific.

Help Our Chapter Win Complementary Registration to the 2027 Financial Leaders Forum with a Quick Survey
We need your help shaping the future of FEI.
FEI Members are invited to take the 2026 Member Satisfaction & Needs Assessment Survey -- a quick, five-minute opportunity to share feedback that will directly influence the programming, resources, and benefits we prioritize in the year ahead.
Your input ensures that FEI continues to deliver meaningful value to its Members and Chapters. The more responses we receive, the better we can align our offerings with what matters most to you.
To encourage participation, FEI is also introducing a friendly competition: the two Chapters with the highest number of completed survey responses will each receive a complimentary registration to the 2027 Financial Leaders Forum in Minneapolis.
It’s a great way to boost engagement while earning a valuable professional development opportunity for your Chapter.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey before it closes on Friday, July 3rd!
Let's Play Topgolf Together!
Golf has long been a backdrop for meaningful business relationships...but not everyone needs a full course to be part of that experience. Topgolf brings that same spirit into a setting that’s approachable, social, and built for connection. Join us for a Topgolf Social this summer!
At its core, Topgolf is a modern, interactive take on traditional golf, where players aim for oversized targets, track their shots in real time, and enjoy great food and drinks in a lively, relaxed environment. No experience required. It’s just as enjoyable for someone picking up a club for the first time as it is for a seasoned player.
For non-golfers, Topgolf removes the pressure and replaces it with energy. There’s no need to know the rules or keep score. Just step up, take a swing, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s an easy, natural way to meet peers, start conversations, and unwind after the workday.
For golfers, Topgolf offers something different, including a chance to refine your swing, engage in a little friendly competition, and stay connected to the game in a more casual, social setting.
For financial executives, it’s an ideal middle ground, offering part networking event, part gameplay. Whether you’re learning the basics or just enjoying the rhythm of the game, Topgolf creates space for real conversations, shared moments, and stronger professional relationships.
Join FEI Silicon Valley for an evening that blends connection, activity, and a fresh take on how business relationships are built.
FEISV Topgolf & Social will be held at Topgolf in Burlingame on Wednesday, August 19th, from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm Pacific.
