Latest Trends in FEI

Join us this Tuesday for a timely conversation with leading investors and operators on how AI is redefining the financial and operating metrics behind today’s most valuable SaaS businesses.

As AI reshapes growth efficiency, retention, margin durability, ROI, and cost structures, investors across venture capital, private equity, and public markets are updating how they evaluate performance. This panel will unpack how expectations are evolving and what it means for SaaS companies integrating AI into their products, pricing, and operations.

Designed for CFOs and finance leaders, this session offers practical insight into how top investors assess AI-driven SaaS companies and how finance teams can better measure, communicate, and strengthen their value story in a rapidly shifting market.

You’ll come away with a clear understanding of how AI is reshaping SaaS business models, how leading companies are adapting, and which metrics matter most for finance leaders right now.

Unlock The Metrics That Matter in an AI Driven SaaS Landscape will be held at the Wells Fargo Innovation Center in Menlo Park on Tuesday, April 28th, from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm Pacific.

Play In A Scramble Golf Tournament for a Good Cause: No Experience Needed!

A scramble tournament is golf’s most beginner-friendly format, and it’s built for fun, teamwork, and conversation—not scorekeeping anxiety. Join in on a time-honored tradition and a fun day of golf at the 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, presented by Robert Half & FEI Silicon Valley!

Everyone in your foursome hits a shot, the group picks the best ball, and then you all play from there, repeating that process until the hole is finished. That means you’re never “holding anyone back." The team always moves forward from the strongest shot, and newer golfers can relax, enjoy the day, and still contribute.

Scrambles are a staple for charity and corporate outings because they create an easy, social environment where players of all levels can participate on a level playing field.

For finance executives, that format is ideal. You get a few hours outside the boardroom to build relationships, talk shop between shots, and experience your peers in a more human, low-pressure setting. Because the structure is collaborative, you can learn the rhythm and etiquette of golf in real time, without the spotlight on every swing.

If golf has ever felt like a “missing skill” for future business deals or client entertainment, a scramble is the perfect way to learn the game, quietly build confidence, and start saying yes to more invitational rounds. By the end of the day, you’ll have stories, new connections, and a stronger golf comfort level you can carry into future networking and deal-making.

The 27th Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament, hosted by Robert Half & FEI Silicon Valley, will be held on Thursday, June 4th, at the Coyote Creek Golf Club in Morgan Hill.

The Evolution of the Finance Function: Why Financial Leaders Must Act Now

Today’s financial leaders are no longer measured by how quickly they report numbers. They are expected to shape strategy, drive transformation, and guide enterprise-wide decision-making.

Yet, a significant gap remains. While CFOs are expected to lead strategy, many still spend limited time doing so. The report reveals that 68% of CFOs spend 40% or less of their time on strategic activities, underscoring a disconnect between expectations and execution.

What Is Procurement Orchestration? The Complete Guide to Unifying Intake-to-pay

Procurement at many companies feels like a black box. Employees face opaque approval cycles and disjointed systems, so they bypass formal channels entirely, leading to unchecked rogue spend and serious compliance risks.

Procurement orchestration solves this by replacing the confusion of siloed legacy tools with a single, intelligent workflow that spans the entire intake-to-pay lifecycle. And with purpose-built AI agents now embedded directly into that workflow, leading organizations are automating the manual tasks that used to slow everyone down.

In a new guide by Zip, experts will break down how procurement orchestration works, how AI accelerates its impact, and the signs that your organization is ready for a dedicated platform.
