The Financial Officers Forum is back on May 1st! Be in the (virtual) room when the discussions go down!
FOF is designed for senior finance professionals—CFOs, Controllers, and VPs of Finance—who currently provide consulting or advisory services to organizations.
Participants raise real-time issues drawn from current client situations and exchange practical solutions, best practices, and trusted referrals. The opportunity to learn from peers while sharing practical, real-world lessons is one of the most impactful benefits of participation.
Financial Officers Forum will be held virtually on Friday, May 1st, from 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm Pacific.

From SOX Burden to Strategic Value: Balancing Pressure, Scope, and Filing Deadlines
Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) readiness is the organizational preparedness to align governance, internal controls, and the day-to-day operating routines to enable reliable public-company financial reporting. For leaders navigating this landscape, the goal is a sustainable SOX program that supports consistent execution and can help reduce late-quarter risk and rework.
For CEOs and CFOs, it really comes down to a recurring, pivotal requirement: Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings. That responsibility—formalized through SOX Sections 302 and 906—makes executives directly accountable for disclosures and reporting, placing pressure on leadership and creating direct reputational and legal exposure.
