Latest Trends in FEI
In just over two weeks, we’re bringing financial executives together for a focused evening on one of the hardest moments in the job: Defending an unexpected cyber hit in front of investors and analysts with the stock price on the line.
A cyber incident today is a liquidity event, an earnings surprise, a disclosure challenge, and a reputation test all at once...and you’re expected to turn that chaos into a clear, credible financial story in days, not months.
Join us at JPMorganChase in Palo Alto on March 31st as our cybersecurity panel dives into the realities of financial leadership under fire. You’ll learn how to quantify and map cyber and data risk in financial terms, set smart prevention and insurance spend, and plan liquidity and capital so an attack doesn’t derail fundraising, M&A, or guidance.
We’ll also walk through the playbook for during and after an incident, including cash and business-interruption decisions, accounting treatment, insurance recovery, reforecasting, and investor messaging. So, when that cyber moment comes, you’re not just reacting. You’re ready.
Cybersecurity – Why Protecting Company Data is the #1 Issue of CFOs in 2026 will be held at JPMorgan Chase in Palo Alto on Tuesday, March 31st, from 5:00 pm- 8:30 pm Pacific.

From Street Vendor to CFO: Judy Wright on Resilience, Emotional Intelligence & Financial Leadership
Before becoming a CFO, Judy Wright tested her resilience in an unconventional way — leaving her job to become a street vendor in China. Carrying inventory by bus, negotiating for space in crowded markets, and building a wholesale network from scratch, she learned firsthand how to persevere under pressure.
That entrepreneurial mindset continues to define her approach to financial leadership today.
According to Judy, Emotional Intelligence is a competitive advantage for CFOs. In today’s volatile business environment, technical expertise alone is not enough. Judy emphasizes that emotional intelligence is essential for financial leaders, “If finance loses its cool, everyone does.”
Senior-level financial leaders set the tone during uncertainty — whether navigating economic shifts, AI transformation, or organizational change. The ability to pause, respond thoughtfully, and project calm confidence strengthens both teams and strategy.

The Pharmacy Cost Problem Employers Think They’re Solving – and the One They’re Not
2025 was a year of turmoil in an already complex pharmacy industry. What was once a manageable category now represents more than a quarter of total health plan spend, and for many organizations, it is growing faster than any other cost component.
Looking ahead to 2026, employers are projecting 11–12%, increases, driven largely by GLP-1 utilization and high-cost specialty drugs. The challenge is no longer whether pharmacy costs will rise, but how deliberately they are managed.
What makes pharmacy especially challenging is not just its growth, but that it is a convoluted mix of trend drivers. A small segment of utilization frequently drives most of the financial risk, yet traditional reporting treats pharmacy as a uniform expense.
