Responsible for the monthly dinner meetings; includes identifying the speaker, topic to be pre-sented, coordinating logistics regarding speaker (equipment required for presentation, etc). Objective is to present programs and speakers that are entertaining, topical and relevant to the membership, with sufficient advance scheduling to allow event promotion.
Responsible for attracting new members to FEISV as well as retaining its existing members. Key focus on identifying and attracting the next generation of financial leaders. To accomplish that mission we are committed to continuously providing visibility into FEI’s resources as well as creating opportunities for involvement and growth within the organization.
Responsible for serving as a main point of contact with all current and prospective Partners, facili-tate coordination with FEISV committees, deter-mine ways to maximize relationships with Partners and monitor progress and satisfaction.
Responsible for developing and coordinating a series of professional development seminars pro-duced and presented by Chapter Partners aimed at enhancing the knowledge of members over a broad range of financial topics. Includes production of our Financial Executive Technical Forum series.
Focuses on facilitating opportunities for our members to share their knowledge with each other through one-on-one interactions. Implementing, promoting and managing our online mentoring program, engaging members as mentors or mentees.
Responsible for establishing and expanding col-laborations with Bay Area universities and profes-sors, interviewing and selecting scholarship candi-dates, and awarding scholarships. Maintain contact with Scholarship award winners through their career advancement.
Focuses on Financial Executive career planning, management and execution, including fostering a network environment to assist members in transi-tion to identify new opportunities. Collects and distributes leads, hosts monthly networking lun-cheons with speakers. Serves as interface with recruiting community. Hosts the CFO Alliance career coaching program.
Responsible for Chapter communications to mem-bers including the Chapter Directory and periodic newsletter; promotion to prospective members, managing media partnerships and maintaining and updating the Chapter Website and other internet presences. Includes promoting our chapter public relations activities.
Social & Diversity
To facilitate and organize social and diversity events for our members (and qualified guests) providing opportunities for networking and relationship-building with fellow members, and also serve as a recruiting tool for new members. These events will be consistent with the overall mission of our chapter: to foster the retention, growth and diversification of our CFO / financial professionals’ membership base.
Assists the Chapter President and leadership in monitoring and influencing actions by FEI leadership and staff affecting the Chapter. Recruits and facilitates volunteers for FEI national committees from among Chapter members.
