Kyle Stanford is a VC Analyst at PitchBook, where he covers nontraditional VC investment and contributes to quarterly core reports and produces thematic analyst notes on various topics. Prior to this role, he worked on PitchBook’s publishing team, building and designing custom reports across all asset classes while also supporting the analyst team’s core report development.
Stanford received a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Washington. He is based in PitchBook’s Seattle office.
Senior Managing Director
First Republic Bank
Basant Kedia is a Senior Managing Director with First Republic Bank. He leads his team, which is one of the largest practices in the bank. He specializes in Managing High Net worth families- with solutions for their complex financial life, through creative lending and risk management solutions. He has over 15 years’ experience in Private banking.
Basant runs a bi- coastal practice between Bay Area and New York. He also advises startups in fund raising and business development. Basant- works with Early stage companies all the way to unicorns. He is also investor in Multiple Start-ups and Micro VC funds.
Basant has been in banking for last 15 years starting with HDFC Bank in Mumbai, then HSBC hired him after he finished his MBA, as Vice President in New York and then in 2008 moved to Bay Area to start the South Asian Banking Group (HSBC), this where the Start Up bug bite him and subsequently in 2011 he moved to First Republic Bank, where he was instrumental in establishing Start- up Practice. He still believes he is more of a New Yorker than Californian.
Basant is also the head of the Blockchain SIG at Band of Angels, where he involved in identifying/mentoring Blockchain companies, and educating band members on Blockchain technology. He is also runs his own foundation, its primary goal is funding education in India and US. When he is not working he seen biking or swimming with his kids or travelling internationally, he has visited over 30 countries in last 5 years. He lives with his two lovely daughters and wife in the Bay Area.
