David specializes in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity and strategic M&A transactions in the technology industry. He has worked with companies ranging from venture backed start-ups to multi-national public companies. Most of his deals typically range in revenue from $10 million to $500 million. David has advised his clients on over 300 transactions and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Randy Randleman

Sumeru Equity Partners

Randy Randleman is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer and sits on the firm’s investment committee. He works on portfolio company value creation initiatives and is also the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Sumeru Equity Partners.

Randy has two decades of finance and operating experience. He joined Silver Lake Sumeru in 2010, the middle market investment strategy of Silver Lake. Prior to Silver Lake Sumeru, Randy spent his career in finance and operating roles in technology companies. From 2006 to 2010, Randy was a finance executive at Qualcomm. Prior to Qualcomm, he worked at Sprint Communications. Randy began his career with U.S. Filter Corporation’s European operations, where he managed the integration of international acquisitions.

 

 

 

Roy Luo
Vice President
ICONIQ Capital

Roy is a Vice President on ICONIQ’s technology private equity team, which is focused on deploying $50 million to $500 million of equity in market-leading technology businesses. Roy primarily focusses on investments in enterprise and SMB software, fintech, and tech-enabled services and marketplaces. Roy currently sits on the board of Truckstop.com, a leading online freight marketplace. Prior to ICONIQ, Roy worked at Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) and Goldman Sachs. Roy holds a BS degree in Biology and Economics from Yale University.

 

Augie Hong
Principal
Riverwood Capital

Augustin Hong is a Principal with Riverwood Capital. Prior to joining Riverwood, Augustin worked as a research analyst at Tidal Creek Capital, a long/short equity manager focused on investments in technology, renewable energy and business services companies.

 

Augustin began his career at Citigroup Global Markets, where he worked with Chris Varelas in technology mergers and acquisitions.

 

Augustin graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
