Hema Sundarraj is at Nanometrics, a manufacturer of metrology solutions for the Semi industry, as Vice-President Corporate Controller, where she is responsible for Global Accounting functions, Treasury and External Reporting. Prior to Nano, she was VP, Head of Finance at Sunpreme, a clean-tech venture backed manufacturer of Solar Panels. She started her career at Applied Materials and continued at Mattson Technology, both manufacturers of semiconductor equipment, where she held various leadership roles in FP&A and Operational Finance. Hema has a bachelor’s degree in Business, an MBA in Finance from XLRI, Jamshedpur in India, and is a licensed CPA in the State of California.

Mike is a Director in Transaction Services with over eleven years of experience advising clients on a broad range of complex accounting topics, including business combinations, consolidation, revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, leasing, complex financings, and derivatives & hedging. Mike assists clients with transaction structuring and application of new and/or complex accounting principles with a focus on mobilizing accounting policies, highlighting impacts on operating results, and supporting financial system implementations.
Mike has knowledge of SEC reporting requirements for acquisitions and divestitures, including the required financial statement and pro forma information, filing timelines and carve-out financial statements. Mike regularly supports both buy- and sell-side diligence with a focus on finance and controllership diligence. He also regularly advises clients pursuing an IPO to navigate the accounting and financial reporting complexities involved with going public.

Lisa Cui is a Director in the Technology M&A team at Barclays. Lisa has been with Barclays Technology Investment Banking group since 2012, and has completed 30+ M&A, equity and debt transactions. Notable M&A transactions include Nanometrics’ MOE with Rudolph Technologies, Finisar’s sale to II-VI, Centrify’s transaction with Thoma Bravo, Veeco’s acquisition of Ultratech, and HP’s acquisition of Aruba Networks. Lisa has an MBA from Columbia Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Tsinghua University in China.
