Craig Lilly of Reed Smith will be interviewing Jonas Grossman, President of Chardan. While at Chardan, Jonas and his team have underwritten, acted as M&A advisor, and self-sponsored more than 80 special purpose acquisition corporations or “SPACs”. During 2020, SPACs have accounted for over 40% of US IPO filings and raised over $60 billion. We will take a deep dive into SPACs and the current M&A environment including SPAC economics, trends, advantages and lessons learned.

He has broad transactional experience having led or managed more than 400 transactions since joining Chardan in 2003. Under Mr. Grossman’s leadership, Chardan has become one of the most notable underwriters, advisors and sponsors of SPACs, having underwritten over 80 transactions raising $10.4 billion with zero liquidations. Chardan has also served as advisor to 18 SPAC transactions.
