Our speaker is:

 

Kenneth J. Purfey
Identification Solutions, Inc.
CFO

In May 2019, Mr. Purfey won the highly coveted FEI award of “CFO Of The Year” for his work and excellence in Entrepreneurism.  Mr. Purfey has a 40-yr background in all areas of finance, accounting, and economics while holding the MBA, CPA, CMA, CFS, FCPA, CDFA, CFF, and CFP certifications. He has been inducted into the AICPA “National Hall of Fame” for Lifetime Achievement.  Mr. Purfey is a Sarbanes-Oxley expert, a Corporate Governance Expert, an Income Tax Expert, an Expert Witness for the SEC, an Anti-fraud Expert, an Expert Witness for local County Governments, and has appeared several times on National Television, most recently on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Mr.. Purfey is the Founder Father of FEI Rising Stars Advisory Board and serves as Chairman Emeritus.

He is also the Founding Father of a very successful medical device company taking it from an idea on the back of a napkin to be worth $ millions today. In this Part 1 of 2, he will explain the details of what it takes to have a successful startup, organization and formation, engage hundreds of shareholders worldwide to invest $ millions, develop the product, take it successfully through clinical trials and prepare it for either an IPO or a buyout. This will include the best or optimum corporate structures for success in both the US and Europe.

  • Scholarship Alumni winners can attend once a year for free.
  • Non-members who do not qualify for membership may attend once a year, must be referred by an active member and pay the guest fee.
