Yuko is a Senior Partner and the Partner-in-Charge at SOAProjects for the Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Business Line. Yuko has 30+ years of experience in public accounting, including Ernst & Young and BDO USA, LLP. Prior to joining SOAProjects in 2010, Yuko was an Audit Partner at BDO in the San Francisco/Bay Area practice. Yuko has been advising clients at SOAProjects for over twelve years.
In addition to her responsibilities to lead SOAProjects’ Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting practice, Yuko has extensive experience in providing technical accounting and financial reporting advisory services to public and private companies, and companies on the IPO path. She has deep expertise in the following industries: technology – software, semi-conductor, SaaS, telecom, professional services, life sciences, manufacturing and distribution industries as well as fin-tech and clean energy. Yuko has a well-rounded technical background in several complicated areas of accounting, including revenue recognition, consolidations, business combinations, impairment, restructuring, software development costs, stock-based compensation and complex equity and debt instruments. Yuko’s style is pragmatic and collaborative, and her clients appreciate her contribution and efforts.

Jitesh Kamdar, CPA

Jitesh has collaborated with all types of Companies from venture-backed private to large public companies valued at over $10 billion. Jitesh has a wide range of experience in complex technical accounting topics including Revenue from Contracts with Customers (ASC Topic 606), Leases (ASC Topic 840 and ASC Topic 842), Equity (ASC Topic 718), Debt (ASC Topic 470), Business Combinations (ASC 805) and Asset Impairment (ASC 350) including equivalent standards under IFRS.
Jitesh has extensive experience in dealing with various SEC reporting requirements and regulatory filings including preparation and review of Forms 10K, Forms 10Q, Form S-1, S-3, 20F, SEC Comment letters, Proxy statement, Form 10 and ensured their compliance with US GAAP. Jitesh has influenced C-Suite and key stakeholders in adopting new financial frameworks, internal controls, risk management standards, accounting systems and processes to maintain financial performance and helped resolve complex accounting issues and provided recommendations for improving/rationalizing internal controls.
Prior to joining SOAProjects, Jitesh was Senior Manager in EY Technology and Life Science practice primarily responsible for accounting and auditing services to ensure compliance with USGAAP, IFRS, PCAOB and SEC reporting requirements. Jitesh consulted with client and lead teams through service offerings, including SOX audits, regulatory compliance, internal controls material weakness remediation, process optimization, IPOs, M&A, due diligence, ERP system implementations, adoption of emerging accounting standards under USGAAP and IFRS.
