Women in Finance
“Women in the Workplace” is a comprehensive study of the state of women in corporate America. The study is part of a long-term partnership between LeanIn.Org and McKinsey & Company to encourage female leadership and foster gender equality in the workplace.
In a study done by McKinsey in partnership with Leanin.org, 200 high-performing executive women were interviewed in focus groups. Many wished they’d had more confidence in their abilities, and said that looking back now, they would have taken even more risks than they did. What gets in the way of confidence? What held these women back – and what holds you back?
You will set your intention to think and act like a leader. This will be about:
- Projecting confidence, risk-taking, and the opportunity that failure presents
- Practicing risk-taking, experimenting with decision-making and reframing failure
- Recognizing what can get in the way of projecting confidence and exploring strategies for building confidence
- Focusing on body language and how you can make your presence felt
