Drew Delmonico is a Partner in Ernst & Young LLP’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice with more than 18 years of public accounting and industry experience.
In his role as Partner, Drew focuses on finance and accounting transformation and the related impact to financial reporting, systems, processes, controls, and the finance organization. He is the FAAS West Region digital leader.
Drew has extensive experience serving large, multi-national companies from both an audit and advisory perspective. He has worked with clients on the identification, design, selection, and implementation of accounting policies, processes, internal controls, and systems. He also has extensive experience assisting clients with SEC filings, including securities registration statements and quarterly and annual financial reports.
From 2011 to 2014, Drew was a member of Deloitte’s National Office where he helped support the development of the new lease standard. As a member of Deloitte’s National Office, Drew was regularly consulted with by audit engagement teams on complex technical accounting matters which included leasing and real estate, financial instruments, business combinations, and consolidations.
From 2006 to 2008, Drew was member of the technical staff at the FASB where he was involved in the standard setting process as a member of the business combinations and noncontrolling interest project teams and the derivatives implementation group.
From 2000 to 2004, Drew was the Corporate Controller for a global manufacturing distribution company where he oversaw all aspects of consolidation and financial reporting, the development of the company’s internal control environment, and the integration and alignment of processes, systems, internal controls, policies, and people for 14 company acquisitions.
Drew is CPA in state of California and Connecticut and is a member of CalCPA and the AICPA. He holds a BS in accounting and accounting information systems from the University of Southern California.
