Navigating High Stakes Conversations

  • This event has passed.

One of the biggest challenges CFOs face in business is handling conflict. If you are like most people, you have struggled over how to have tough, often high stakes conversations with the Board, your CEO, staff, vendors, clients, stakeholders, investors, and others.

Most organizations lose as high as 80% of their potential performance because of the inability of their executives to step up and master high stakes conversations.

In this presentation, you will learn key skills to increase confidence in facing tough issues. You will learn how to resolve deadlocks, communications failures, failed promises and missed deadlines, transform bad behaviors into productive accountability, and the skills necessary to strengthen relationships while solving problems.

In this seminar, Dr. Frumi will be going over The Crucial Confrontation Model, which will address:

  • How to prepare for the difficult conversation,
  • How to create safety for the other person so that you can be more effective,
  • What to do if another problem shows up that might derail the conversation,
  • And finally, how to create a plan and then follow up.

Dr. Frumi Rachel Barr is the founder and Chief Mentor at the Barr Business School.

After founding and leading 5 fast growing companies, she gained invaluable practical experience that they don’t teach you in Business School. She founded the Barr Business School to coach executives and entrepreneurs in key leadership skills necessary to negotiate hurdles and “Play to Win!” She is passionate about equipping leaders with focused, practical methods and approaches to solving the toughest challenges they are likely to encounter. She has guided leaders to grow and scale their companies by taking them from making plans, to execution, to creating sustainable and profitable companies.

Dr. Frumi covers that vital gap between the theory you learn in Business School and the real-life challenges you will face in leading your organization. Meet Dr. Frumi, “The CEO’s Secret Weapon”.
