Strategies for Integrating Remote and Workplace Dynamics – The New, New Normal!

Businesses must learn to adapt to new workplace dynamics in order to flourish in these uncertain times. Resilience, compassion and flexibility are required to adjust to ever-changing rules and new workplace dynamics.


In this presentation we will discuss considerations and guidelines with having remote employees and employees returning to the workplace – the new, new normal.  We will look at pandemic specific policies and practices.  We will present strategies for managing remote teams and creating streamlined collaboration, so your team, whether in the office or working remotely, can do their best work, while being supported.

Learning objectives:

  • Understand strategies for how to manage a remote workforce
  • Managers gain insight how to manage employees who are not face to face, including communication approaches as well as how to be strong coaches.
  • Leadership gains perspective on what practices are appropriate to implement while navigating this and any pandemic.
  • Understand key policies and practices to implement when preparing for return to office.
  • Understand of best in class approaches to performance management while employees are working remotely.


Jill Pappenheimer, MBA, SPHR

Jill Pappenheimer brings 30 years of experience supporting the people function for organizations ranging from large financial institutions to small entrepreneurial teams. In 2006, she began consulting with companies, and in 2012 she co-founded Options4Growth, a boutique-consulting firm bringing both outsourced Human Resources and Strategy Advising, combined with cloud based technology, to a broad range of clientele.


She has an extensive business management background giving her a unique perspective to traditional HR practices. Jill believes that you need to link people, with technology, and organizational goals and objectives in order to grow and thrive.


Jill has a passion for people and firmly believes that organizations of all sizes and types are successful when employees share in the creation of their roles and responsibilities and can see the link to the company initiatives, change happens, accountability and engagement occurs. In her experience working with some of the valleys top technology companies she truly believes that technology creates efficiency and must be part of any solution to achieve growth. But it’s people that feed corporate growth.

Nancy Durlester DuBois is an HR Professional who has worked in the trenches as a Human Resources executive for over 15 years. Nancy brings experience in both the corporate and not-for-profit worlds and has extensive background running operational areas of each.

Nancy has acted as a trusted strategic advisor, business partner, collaborator, and executive coach in all areas of Human Resources best practices. Nancy specializes in mitigating risk through employee relations’ practices, solid HR policies, and effective management training. Nancy is passionate about helping organizations create respectful, authentic, civil, and inclusive cultures in the workplace.
