Please join us on Friday May 8th  at 12:00 pm PT for a conversation with Petra Loer, Al Nuñez, and Brandon Nett, Managing Directors at Andersen who will address the most relevant tax and valuation considerations related to financial restructuring and bankruptcy

Speakers:

Petra N. Loer
Managing Director, San Francisco

 

Petra Loer is a member of the Valuation Services Group at Andersen. Her experience includes the valuation of closely held businesses, business interests, intangible assets, intellectual property, debt instruments, and derivatives. These engagements span a variety of purposes, including financial reporting, tax planning and reporting, mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, strategic planning, and restructuring.

Her client basis ranges from small closely-held businesses to multi-billion dollar multinational public companies, in industries as diverse as manufacturing to technology.
Before joining Andersen, Petra was a member of the Valuation Services practices at Huron Consulting Group and Arthur Andersen. Petra holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA – BV) designations.

 

Petra teaches national valuation training for Andersen and contributes to the firm’s publications focused on key valuation topics.

 

Alfonso Nunez
Managing Director, San Francisco

 

Alfonso Nuñez, Managing Director in the Andersen San Francisco office, has over 25 years of experience in corporate and international taxation. He advises corporations on a broad variety of business and tax matters Alfonso has extensive experience in serving clients in many industries, with an emphasis on technology, manufacturing, utilities, gaming and hospitality.
Before joining Andersen, Alfonso served clients at RSM and EY, advising public and entrepreneurial companies.

 


Brandon Nett
Managing Director, Seattle

Brandon Nett has over 18 years of experience advising businesses in tax matters centered around the creation of value through transformational events such as acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and business expansion. Brandon advises a wide variety of businesses from large, public companies, to private businesses and start-ups.

 

Brandon has extensive experience serving clients in many industries, with an emphasis on technology, healthcare, natural resources and a wide range of venture backed/early stage organizations.

 

Before joining Andersen, Brandon was a M&A Tax Services Partner for the west region of Grant Thornton, and prior to that he worked at PwC.
