This month three top executive recruiters will share their 2018 market outlook for Silicon Valley. They will discuss how recruiters should fit into an FEI member’s search strategy, how and when FEI members can establish relationships with recruiters and the key skills that clients are asking for right now. They will share their thoughts on how best to work with recruiters, tips on resumes and interviewing, tricks that recruiters use to learn about you.
This meeting will benefit FEI members who are thinking about their next career moves, and give senior managers an understanding the current market for Finance talent.

Sue Salvesen founded STRe Solutions, a boutique executive search firm, in 2004 and is past president of FEI Silicon Valley Chapter. She is a former Silicon Valley Chief Financial Officer who led 3 IPOs and several acquisitions. Sue has over 20 years of extensive hands-on financial and management experience and more than 7 years’ experience as a CFO.
Prior to founding STRe Solutions, Sue served as interim CFO for a public software company, Industri-Matematik, where she participated in the sale of the company to a leading venture capital firm. Sue was CFO at Mockingbird Networks, Quintus (sold to Avaya), Unify, and AG Associates (sold to AST).
Sue began her career at Ford Motor Company as a financial analyst, spent six years at ROLM Corporation in various finance and accounting roles, and was Corporate Controller at Aspect Telecommunications. At Aspect she led the growth of the finance organization from 2 to 35 people while the company’s revenues grew from $5M to over $100M. She also has extensive experience in M&A activity.
Sue received her BA Degree in Economics with High Honors and Distinction in Economics from Douglass College of Rutgers University. She also holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma. Previously she was Treasurer of and served on the Board of Directors and the Finance committee for a local non-profit organization, Girls for a Change.

E.J. Dieterle is the President & CEO of YES Partners (a global executive search firm www.yespartners.com). He has extensive executive management experience in helping to build and grow companies in Europe, Asia and North America. He is fluent in German, English, Japanese and Spanish. He is also a mentor and an adviser to various companies including Clean Power Capital (a private investment bank). He worked several years in Japan, (South) Korea, UK, Germany, the US-East Coast (NY & NJ) and has been in the Silicon Valley for 16 years and was a member of Alliance of CEOs. E.J. has a MBA from IMD.
