CFO Fireside Chat: Greg Henry: From GE to Couchbase

Greg Henry will discuss his illustrious 25-year career, including his senior executive financial positions at GE.

Greg Henry is an established finance leader with more than 25 years of experience leading global growth and financial operations within the technology industry. His experience includes both living and working outside of the U.S. in various global, complex, and highly regulated environments, such as those within the manufacturing and more recently software/SAAS space.

For the past four years, Greg has served as Chief Financial Officer at Couchbase, where he is responsible for the overall financial governance and management of the company’s financial operations as well as management of worldwide IT and Facilities operations. He has also led HR and Legal on various occasions.

Prior to Couchbase, Greg served for two years as Senior Vice President of Finance at ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), where he led the enterprise cloud company’s financial development and was responsible for accounting, procurement, and treasury. Before ServiceNow, he held various senior executive financial positions at GE (NYSE: GE) over a 14-year tenure, culminating as CFO of the multi-billion dollar Healthcare IT unit. Greg began his career at Ernst & Young, where he spent five years as a member of the audit group.

Greg has been involved in numerous M&A events as well several capital raises (equity and debt). He is a member of the Silicon Valley CFO Roundtable.

Greg is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business.
