Rich Gunn, CEPA, CPA
Rich is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and member of the Exit Planning Institute, who has been helping business owners succeed for over 25 years. As A CPA, Rich has also served as a tax advisor to business owners. Utilizing his skills as a CEPA and a CPA, Rich’s mission is to guide business owners to achieving maximize business value, be exit-ready at all times, and lead business owners to a successful transition and exit from their business.
Rich is the author of the Business Owners Special Series, a library of articles on value acceleration, exit planning and succession planning. Rich publishes a new B.O.S.S. article each month.
BSG Consulting, Inc.
In 2001, Mr. Cipriano founded BSG Consulting to advise equity stakeholders and principals of closely held businesses on strategic improvement and higher enterprise value creation. He is an executive coach, mediator, exit & succession planner and M&A consultant.
After graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Economics, and prior to founding BSG consulting, Mr. Cipriano was an Officer and Branch Manager with Wells Fargo and then Westamerica Bank. He was recruited from banking to help build a financial staffing company for Gary D. Nelson Associates and recruited again to be a Regional Vice President with Adecco to perform a turnaround on a national legal staffing and search practice.
Mr. Cipriano has served on a variety on non-profit boards, volunteered and raised money for Junior Achievement of Northern California, the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation, The Sandra J Wing Healing Therapies Foundation, The City of San Ramon Finance Task Force and The Diablo Ballet.
